The GoodTwice store is running a sale for managers, where you can buy things with a 50% discount. This is a great thrift store in Ohio! They have a lot of items under $10 each and big tag sales marked 12 or less for $1 (or more).
I always win the jackpot - I had this luck twice:
CPSC recalled products: child car seats, children's toys and accessories. They don't work or break for a few years after they were bought for charity - it's their responsibility to people that they can't really use these items to sell at an affordable price! Donations can only be made if they have been treated with insect repellants (including chemical ones). If the exchange is not possible, we will be forced to turn to local enterprises for the processing of these items, provided that the integrity of the product is maintained until people themselves buy it.
